Good or Bad?

For the last couple of weeks we have had media releases, suggesting that we are interested in player a or player b, with numerous players opting to change clubs, not re-sign etc etc, including the good old, i prefer to be traded to...., reports.

The one thing that i am pleased with is that we havent really come out with any concrete statement, suggesting we are going to make a big play for anyone.
Ontop of that there havent been any media stories suggesting that other clubs are hunting one of ours.

Gotta feeling we are keeping our cards real close to our chest this year, re. drafts and trades. I like it....dont let anyone know what your plan really is, just tell them that the plan includes everyone that is on the market.

me is bit of a realist emp. Tipping that someone, somewhere at another club, knows he will be wearing the yellow and black next year.

Or another I'm really starting to suspect is that this may be the quietest trade period for The Tigers for quite a while.

Too much to pay in a critical draft for one or two "tarnished" gun players or a few unproven ones.

Lets put it this way, you have Warnock preferring the tankers, dogs and aints wanting O'keefe, Cousins linked to the scum, etc etc, but nothing that suggests tigers. The best way to ream the opposition, is to not let them know which way you are going to move.

Thats when the skill comes into play. Betting on each card. Not the stupid, rivers and flops that the yanks conjured up as a game of skill, so those with no skill lcan read books about %s and think they have it.
