The only negative I took from that came was ROB.

Jesus he looks like he is literally moving in treacle at times - never appreciated quite how slow his movements were until now.

Not sure he will be leading us to a flag, but he is fine for the next 4-5 years.
Funnily enough I wonder whether Collingwood are now staring down the barrel of a rebuild a year or two behind us and might possibly be interested in offloading Grundy in the next year or two at a discounted rate...

oliver best on ground by a country mile.. the lad is one of the best players in the comp.
Was one of the best games I've seen someone play. We were into him early. After trx got reported for dumping him i reckon the umpires warned us and we backed off and he ran absolute riot

You'd want a young developing midfield getting fed the ball by Grundy tbh.

Good: my missus (from Thailand) who has no idea about the crows knows who Tex is

bad: I missed the greatness of the end because I was rude to her last night

ugly: the tiger next week

Ha ha. My Filipina wife sooks every time we win. She loves to see me unhappy. Ain't marriage grand?!

We should be offering this "big" money which the media is reporting for Stephenson instead of Dawson from Sydney.
Assuming you mean Stephens?

I won't clog up the thread with it, but I'm much more comfortable offering money to Dawson than to Stephens (assuming it isn't a huge contract for Dawson)

Question to those who were at the game...

At one point in the 4th quarter, Mackay fires out a fierce handball, which is going over Sloane's head - and which Sloane only just manages to control. Was the handball intended for Sloane, or did he intercept a handball intended for someone else? The camera was zoomed in tight, so I couldn't see if there were any other players beyond Sloane, who may have been the intended target.

If it was intended for Sloane, then the handball from Mackay was utterly ridiculous. If it was intended for someone else, then it's just a comical football incident, where the handball was made to look worse than it actually was.

Nah still not interested, the wage and trade would suck up a lot.

Focus needs to be on midfielders.

I feel like you can pick up aging elite ruckman and they can still lead you to a flag. Which premiership teams have had elite ruckman?

It was for Sloane. Dunstall roasted him for it.

Don't forget the "touched" call claimed by Sholl, not given.
Sholl doesn't strike me as the kind of young fella to claim it mischievously.
It's funny how the replays never got to the frame where it went past his hand isn't it

Not the time to talk lists. This as close as we get to a finals win for a good 2 and a half years. Soak it in, enjoy it tonight.

It's Mackay, what you see is what you get.....
