Good -
Smith - Reckon he has really stepped up this year
Keays - Thank you Brisbane
Laird - just got a lot of it
Seedsman - kept us in it in the first half
McKay - 21 disposal and a goal. Great start for a young player
Rowe - just doesnt waste a disposal
Berry - gives me a ha.. on
Tex - last weeks rest justified
RT - oh my the future is bright
Me - I picked us to win
Brown - very accountable\
Butts - will be a very good key defender for 10 years
Doedee - back to his best
Jones - growing in confidence
McHenry - pitbull
Fog - just kept cracking. Good decision to go back and have that shot.

We just never win games like that. Close all night, other team kicks a couple of quick ones with less than 10 minutes left, normally that’s game over. I can’t remember another time where we have come back from that position to actually win a game. The Collingwood 2017 is the only one I can think of, and that was a draw. This is a huge win for the rebuild, especially after losing the Hawks game.

It is nuts to think we are bottom 4 but have beaten two top 4 sides within the first 10 rounds!

Keays [emoji173]️ have loved this guy since his first game - all heart

Berry [emoji169]

RT w.o.w [emoji170]

Ugly - everyone talking about the last htb whilst forgetting about the other horrid decisions paid against us.

Bad - my stress levels!!

👍 been a Keays man too, don’t listen to the no polish critics

Does Oliver get 10 coaches votes despite our win? Was immense

205 supercoach points. I don't play supercoach but is that a record?

Our mids actually did well to get us enough supply overall given the level of control Melbourne had at times

Massive character and belief from whole team and just kept positive and attacking both with the ball and at the opposition.
What a difference having a extra big defender out there meant for Doedee to play the role he is made for .
Although we allowed Lever to get lot of intercepts I thought all forwards at least kept trying to present themselves and were dangerous all game.
Murray and Sloane probably only 2 that had ordinary game . Although both were crucial in last.
But you have to say how good is Oliver . He nearly carried them over the line.

The Showdown in 2018(?) was close, before Motlop kicked that damn goal in the last minute

But you're right, this is very... un-Crow-like?

Amazing.

Clutch goals from Tex and Fog.

The kids all had their moments- McHenry, Rowe, Berry, Jones, Thilly. Even Murray had that tackle on Gawn.

Keays remains massive, despite the lack of polish.

The bad is probably our rather anonymous captain and the fact that the media is already talking about all the contentious calls in our favour when they, at best, even the ledger given our being absolutely reamed for the majority of the game.
Don’t want to mention paying a throw against us in the 3rd, which wasn’t a throw, and had us walking into an open goal? There were questionable calls all night, why not highlight those too?

We know why!

Games like this are so important for a side like ours. We can pat them on the back and say "Oh, they played hard, they busted a gut" and they lose by 30 points. But eventually if you keep busting a gut and don't get any reward for it that will start to drop off, no matter who the coach is or what messages he is sending. But you get those wins and that instils the belief, even if you're not the most talented, if you bring the heat you can beat anyone on the day. We've produced that twice now, first against Geelong and now tonight, now that belief can continue to grow as the players continue to grow skills/execution wise with experience too.

I can understand some people will go "but what about the draft picks?" and I do get that, but I reckon getting 3 or 4 of these sorts of wins is better for us in the long run than picking 5th instead of 3rd.

Need to watch that last quarter again, because that was exciting and there were some huge plays by a few. Thought Smith was absolutely massive, with some brilliant disposals. That bullet to hit Murray was amazing, and the mark by Murray was huge. Underrated few minutes by Murray, wow.

Laird was massive too, popped up everywhere. And I’m not one of his biggest fans.

RT had a great last term and Butts was fantastic all game but had some great moments. Doedee huge.

What a team effort.
