Goodes vs McVeigh

With T Tuck just annoying me big time I'm looking at bringing in Wright for Walker who has peaked. I've got 585.2k to play with to offload Tuck. I've come across McVeigh and Goodes. McVeigh of course is about 50k cheaper and I suppose not as uniqque but Goodes would be in more teams and Goodes can grab the big points. I'm looking at McVeigh as I could use the extra 50 odd k for Hill > Enright or P Burgoyne and /or Higgins > Jono Brown.. So I'm kinda stuck at the moment.

Team as it stands with 11 trades

Fisher,Newman,Bock,Gilbee,Cornes,Hill,Grimes,(cheney,broughton)
Ablett,Selwood,Judd,Cross,Rich,T Tuck(beams,cockie)
Cox,McIntosh(Jacobs,Spencer)
Riewoldt,Pav,Deledio,Frankin,Higgins,Ziebell,M Brown(Walker,Warren)

Either Walker > Wright or Beams > Muston.. not sure on which one either lol.

I am not expert, but a Rich to Goodes is probably your best bet. Then you can use that cash to upgrade your last forward, or maybe upgrading Higgins to Davis (if you have the cash)

Jarrad McVeigh.I would do the Rich trade but having no backup for Tuck as Beams and Cockie are out..

Depends what you are after really. Are you going for a league win or an overall win..that is the bottom line.

The other option is Tuck>Muston (this is a risk but Beams, Cockie will be back anyway)

Then use the cash to upgrade a back or forward. I'd look at your last 2 forward spots as they are both rookies and that is a risk

Pretty confident I'm looking for a strong league win with a overall ranking of 4122 lol.With the T Tuck > Muston and Taylor Walker involved gives me 585.2 k to play with. I'd be looking for Jono Brown upgrade on Missy next week I think.Other options are Johnson,Goodwin,Davey,O'Keefe or McMahon..Not sure If I want this route or not??

This is a misconception. He actually averages similiarly all through the year. In fact in some years he has averaged more in the first half then the secomd half. The only year in which he dominated in the second half compared to the first half was in 2006 when he, that's right, won the Brownlow and started to have a higher profile.

But to the OP, still tke Goodes. A great player he will average 105 for the rest of the year. mcVeigh may not. If given that oppurtunity I would definately take Goodes.

Goodes is on target to win his 3rd Brownlow. Only needs maybe a couple more of those 6 vote games he occasionally gets and its sewn up.

Yeah guys, I'm talking in SC terms. SC only been around since 2004 (?). I mean people noticed a SC scoring up rise in the second half of 2006 for Goodes when his profile was raised in SC as he became a tremendous scorer.
How embarrassing on my part...
