Not much in it, less than usual!
Geez, I bet Goodes legal team would be loving this!
Surprised no threads on the main board yet?

There wasn't too much in it, notice him turning back as soon as he'd made contact to look at what he'd just done? I'm not too sure though, because I didn't watch any replays except the first that they showed.

most of the commentators seemed to brush it away, but one of them suggested at a report, anyone know his name?

hope goodes gets a week he deserves it always seems to get off at the tribunal as hes there love child and has 93 carry points from last time so wouldnt be surpised if he did get a week

Of course he'll get cited. It's a flawed rule. Same verdict as last time. Watch him wreak havoc versus the toothless ferals in two weeks.

If it's the same verdict as last time then he will miss 1 match given his carryover points.

Why am I worried about the MRP tonight when no-one else seems to be?

Because they are hilariously inconsistent!
Isn't that more reason to be worried because this bump was more innocuous than the Selwood one>?

That's what I meant; that's why Costanza is worried! I am a bit nervous but at least it didn't get replayed ad nauseum like any other Goodes / Hall incident so the public isn't frothing at the mouth.

Goodes has been very, VERY lucky a few times at the tribunal, when i first saw the incident i thought he was in a bit of strife, however with Selwood i thought he was gone for 2-3 for sure. No one could possibly know what the MRP will come up with, i dont wanna see a good player out, but, with his carry over points and the fact he should have got a spell for the Selwood incident he must go this time.
Question for the Swans supporters. He is a star footballer very talented one of the best of this generation, why does he continue to do stupid things like this or the Selwood incident or going back the Godfrey incident? Is he an angry angry man, does he just have silly brain fades or is he a bit mentally weak, not stirring up trouble just curious as to why he does it??

F___ked if I know. I was ropable with him after the hit yesterday, although I still haven't seen a replay. BF tends to exxagerate the malice/impact of the incidents he is involved in, but the truth remains that he should not be putting himself in these situations.

Maybe I'm exxagerating this incident in my own mind - as I said I haven't caught a replay. But if he gets pulled up by the MRP yet again, something really needs to be done internally at the Swans to pull his head into line.

We desperately need him against the Pies. Fingers crossed...
