Swans have been very impressive since the pre-season, some guys who struggled with injury in previous years seem to be refreshed and looking pretty good. McGlynn is a fantastic pickup, i liked the look of him last year and he has taken the next step.

I'm looking forward to the contest next week and hope for a ripping game. Is Rohan far away from a gig? Would be nice if he and Cunnington could get a game.

Cheers, should be good game, both of our clubs are not really top 8 favorites. But some of the supposed experts, are going to eat humble pie, there are spots for both our clubs!!!

I think is unlikely that we will make the top 8 this year, we just couldn't afford to have early injuries to some core players. But, adversity allows some younger players to get an opportunity they probably wouldn't so there is always a silver lining.

cheers Tas, very interested to see how Bastianac performs next week, (mainly wondering if it was just lazy eagles players that didnt try hard enough to break a tag that made him look so good) so looking forward to whoever he is matched up on. (any thought as to who he'll go to?)

He is not a tagger, he just goes in hard and has a pretty good tank, our game last week wasn't a real hard stoppage type of game, the game just tended to swing with the side that got their hands on the ball first. It will be a different experience this week, closer to the Saints game than the Eagles game.

As to who he might play on I think given his light frame the club will probably look for him to play on McGlynn when he is in the middle or perhaps Hannebery or Jetta depending on how much time they get and where abouts, those guys are more in his body size.
