According to afc.com.au Simon Goodwin copped a kick to his calf and will most probably miss this weeks internal trial but should be ready for the Norwood / Eagles clash on the 14th Feb;)

Yeah, saw it on telly Stiffy. Honestly, once you've seen these guys training in the flesh you'll wonder why they haven't half killed each other. The tackling is match fierce and fair dinkum, which is why the tempers flare a bit.

Ayersy certainly wouldn't have it any other way, which is why there'll always be some injuries as well. Hopefully only minor ones!!

I saw that on the AFC site and I was gonna freak out!! Geez I dont need scares like that! Ive had enough shocks today!

Good hard tough competitive training is what we want to see,if we have the right approach at training,it will come natural come game time:)We dont need these injury scares though getting so close to the WOK Cup,need every player to get the most out of this preseason, which it looks as though they have:)We will be the club to be feared this season, and beyond:)

Yep, C10 reported it as a sort of corky. And they emphasized that he was "taken off on a mini-ambulance" making it sound like it was fatal. What was worse was b/c I missed the first few seconds of the start of the report, hearing the mini-ambulance phrase and not knowing who it was or what the injury was, I nearly had a heart attack thinking someone had broken their leg or something.
