Firefox users seem to be a lot like Apple fanboys...... persisting with an inferior product because it was once seen as "cool"

chrome has a better UI though

the address bar in firefox has improved, but i still have to press down and enter.. it doesnt populate the actual address bar as u type..

also searching within a page is so much more intuitive on chrome..

but that performance....

Major bug in Chrome, if you search for Chrome page blank you will see many people reporting the same thing. Only an issue if Google is your default search engine. What happens is you type something in the Omnibox, then enter, and the search results are blank. In the URL you will see https://www.google.com/blank.html.....

If you delete the blank.html the page will display.

I've been getting this heaps lately, reloading the page does nothing, have to type in the search query again. Really annoying bug to go with the Youtube bug that basically locks up my entire computer (macbook)

As a query, those in the know in regards to all things Chrome:D...how does it fair comparably as far as security and add-ins are concerned compared to Firefox??

A couple of bugs have crept into Chrome (desktop version) recently, but I don't come across them too often. I'm sure it will update itself at some point soon and sort itself out.

I've just made the switch to Chrome on my Galaxy S2 and haven't looked back.

EDIT: Heh, it just updated :)
 
Chrome blank page problem seems to have gone. Used to get youtube pages go blank yet still have audio. I can now say that Chrome is again stable for me.

I like the v29 update. New homepage with built-in search box. Apps page converted to apps shortcut.

But if only they would finally add multi-row tabs like Firefox + TabMixPlus.

The only issue that I have with the current update is that it doesn't have automatically show website suggestions. Just say I want to visit Bigfooty. I open up tab and start typing Bigfo...and before the website would just come up, now it only comes up with the google searches eg. Bigfooty, Bigfooty Forum, Bigfooty Adelaide etc...

In the latest beta, icons will show if sound is coming from a tab or if a tab is using the webcam. Good additions.

Have been checking out the experimental features in Chrome (chrome://flags/ or chrome://flags/).

Enable password generation. (Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS)
Allow the user to have Chrome generate passwords when it detects account creation pages.

Stacked Tabs. (Windows)
Tabs never shrink, instead they stack on top of each other when there is not enough space.

Tab Overview. (Mac)
Swipe down with three fingers on your trackpad while holding the option key to see an overview of all your tabs. Click on a thumbnail to select it. Works great in fullscreen mode.

Hey guys.

Google Chrome has decided to shut up shop on me... Re-installed multiple times, disabled all extensions etc. - it'll open for me but no matter what I do it's just showing a blank white screen with no signs of loading anything.

Any ideas?
 
I found Chrome to be best browser for systems as it is quick with fast results...
Along with this many browsers are there such as opera,safari,Firefox etc..
