I saw the pilot of iZombie on the plane last year. Really liked the comic book aesthetic it had. Though the cop was pretty boring.

I've never said that. There's tons of good superhero shows, just comic book fans are exceptionally one-eyed when it comes to evaluating their merits and flaws.

That said, whenever I find myself critiquing a comic book story too seriously I try and remind myself of the inherent ridiculousness of the concept. They are fundamentally children's stories, after all.

Just watched the ep, one of the best so far and penguin has gone the full penguin look just needs to sit in the house for a few years and get fat.

Have you seen batman vs superman? They might not stay dead but the Death of a main character is always a possibility, if Marvel wasn't soft they would trim their roster a bit as well.

Because this is a prequel all the characters need to grow up to be specific characters in the future so killing them isn't an option.

The show would be better off avoiding canon. They shouldn't shy away from making this their own complete narrative i.e. kill Alfred or a similar character to show that it isn't following the dominant lore.

Pretty surprised with how well this show turned out in the back half of this season.

Season 2 was great, Order of Dumas into Dr Strange into The Court of Owls. If they chuck the League of Assassins in i'll probably get a little turgid.
