Talking about Ruckman whats Oakley? I am still struggling as to why he didnt get a game in front of at least 4 others. I know he was back mid year but cant believe on form he got dropped.

2 massive additions to Mansfield and the league. Mahoney will be a top 10 mid and Browne will certainly give most other ruckmen a workover with his size and strength. With good depth at the club, gaining those 2 alone could be enough for a finals berth next year - without too many departures.

Apparently the United hierarchy aren't thrilled with the current club 'culture' and are looking for a fresh start as they have a good group of kids coming through. Lots of the thirds kids parents are very hesitant to let their kids loose with the current group of older players.

That is great news if they have identified a problem and then started to do something about it. Unfortunately some of this poor culture has already infiltrated the junior ranks of this club. Already a club has made a complaint about a particular player to the league alleging terrible social media comments defaming 3 players from 3 different clubs and another team which should have officially complained after having players receiving threatening phone calls. I have had parents ring me, officials and players upset about it. Needs to be stamped out ASAP. I have been involved in suspending my own club's players for what I consider minor social media breaches. Maybe I am breaching the rules now, but sick of some of the players continually getting away with it. Sorry.

A racial vilification case from a number of years ago allegedly remains unresolved .
If a racial vilification case can't be resolved by those in power locally and is brushed under the carpet , I can't see breaches of the media policy being addressed .

The alleged racial vilification case does not include Shepp United .

Haven't heard that Tucky, although the Rochy boys are certain 'maybe' is a 'No' and will be looking further afield.

I would imagine he would stay at Colbo with his great mate Nick Knight as Coach. Are you talking United with large Guy Campbell running the show?

Guessing he's talking Moama with Mark Lloyd being appointed coach. Nevertheless, he will be playing at Colbo next year.
 
With the 2017 AFL Grand Final being on the last day of September, will we see a return of the GVFL decider on the Sunday after the AFL again?

Have heard a couple of whispers that Stroobants is being chased hard by a Bendigo club who are reasonably confident that he might head back that way. Has he re-committed to Rochy yet? Be a huge blow if they lost him.

Was announced before the prelim that he had signed on even thou he has packed up and moved to Melbourne for work.
 
Euroa have announced JD Hayes as coach for the next 2 years. Will his brother come back full time? And a few other mates no doubt.
