i want to know how Gourdis and Putt is going. Does anyone know how the went in the time trials? (if indeed they did it). they are supposed to be our kp forwards for the future so i was wondering if they are coming along as expected because if not we should draft a big forward this year IMO :thumbsu:.

Gourdis has just been delisted bummer lol. ok well just talk about Putt then.

Gourdis just got delisted but may be picked up with our last rookie pick if he is still avaliable.

Aparently Putt is travelling ok and may pick up a few games this year depending on things going his way.

Lol, Gourdis has been delisted. :o

Havent heard, but hard to tell out of a time trial how well Putt is going considering he came from the country (I think), so probably isnt the strongest swimmer.

Best to start until some footy training reports start coming through.

unfortunate that the kids progress is clearly short of the mark...never a good sign when a draftee is entrenched in the thirds I dont care who it is..as it's a bloody mile off the Big league...that said I thought the line on this kid was that he was like an irish experiment..in which case 12 months is not much patience...This is now a sure sign we will go TALL with the No 8 pick

if we pass up hartlett/ziebell i will not be very happy.

Not necessarily Bo. We could still go with the best available at 8 and then load up with talls with the other 3 picks.

However, I hope we take a tall first up. Be it McKernan (personal choice), Trengove(the boards choice) or Johnston. Get the player we need first and foremost then use the remaining picks for the best available.

They are talking on the Melbourne board about this. If he is so good why on earth have RFC done this? I don't know much about him other than having seen his name floated around a fair bit and that RFC did well to get him in the PSD. Can someone offer some more details about him other than the basic stats (which I like, 192cm forward with a good leap and 20 yrs old next year).

cheers.:thumbsu:

He suffers from depression. Not sure if there's more to it than that.

I believe the Goo was not cut because of talent.

And it wasn't bad attitude either.

What a crock of .....where on earth do you get stuff like this from. This is the fartherest thing from the truth.....you lot honestly have not the slightest idea! Making comments like this about people you have never met and know nothing about amazes me. Stick to facts and what you know - which in most cases is very not much.

Hopefully he left because he doesn't want to play Footy and not because we gave up on him. If he nominates for the draft I'll be annoyed at RFC.
I was looking forward to seeing Goo in the NAB.:(

Gourdis delisted already - what's going on there? That's a hell of a waste of the #1 pick in the PSD - so what if he's got depression, surely you have a go at helping him out first?
Not really...
People shouldn't expect PSD picks to do anything from the start, and everything more they do than nothing is a bonus!
