So anyway I wake up this morning ready to tackle the day, open the gate reverse the car out and what do I see?? Some cowardly piece of **** took it upon themselves to scrawl all over my new fence with black spraypaint..

I'd noticed a fair bit of this sort of thing in town and wondered if it is becoming more and more of a problem? I can see that it's an issue in the city but what's it like in other country towns or suburbs?

And has anyone else had to deal with this sort of stuff and can they provide me with any advice on getting rid of the sh*t??

Personally I reckon it's as low an act as there is and just can't fathom what goes through the heads of some of these utterly pathetic tossers....

Graffin' is awesome pops.

Agreed. In San francisco i was told that if kids get caught graffiti-ing they are given a wall, a large variety of spray cans and are encouraged to paint. I like that idea so much I haven't bothered to find out if it is true, just in case it isn't.

Graffiti would have to be up there with the most generous, un-pretentious, selfless art there is.

So I could come to you house and write "Messenger rocks the casbah" or some other inane shit all over your property? I'm pretty selfless like that.

Graffiti done well not on somebody elses property is cool.... Bullshit no talent tags piss me off though

Tagging is just cheap, filthy and done mostly by drug ****ed teenagers. I know some people who tagged at my school in year 9/10/11. Only one of them is going to Uni from what I can remember and most left school before they could even count to 10. I ****ing hate tagging and feel sick when I see a brand new house with some pointless shitty name "thrown" up on it.

Murals and bigger colour graffiti isn't too bad when done in the right areas but this can also cause pain and look shite. Most of the stuff that people get paid to do on shop walls and alike look crap and fake.

Some would say that graffiti is a moving and profound anarchist statement of rebellion against the fundamental and oppressive societal assumption about the existence of property rights.

Personally I just think it's douchebags being douchebags.

Yeah perhaps I should have been a bit more specific and said 'tagging' rather than 'graffiti' but whatever the hideous scrawl is on my fence I can tell you that it isn't 'generous, unpretentious selfless art' like an earlier poster was w*nking on about....

It's just so comforting knowing that these clowns are roaming the streets at 3am on a Monday night/Tuesday morning.....

Apparently I've since heard that they also 'tagged' a few cars and Primary schools.... Nice.

Fresh wall got mad stylz now!

I used to get a laugh out of graffin when I was a youngin, never did it myself, just used to laugh when 6 mates would run into a school and completely destroy walls within a minute.

Cmon man its fun to upset old people when you're 15.

You really wanna make the guy mad?

Put a big single line through his tag and write your own next to it.

I wasn't wanking on you old hoot. These people make free art for you to look at in your city and expect nothing in return.

You're an ungrateful ****.

Haha I'm not even 30!!

I'm actually starting to think that you are just winding me up now so I don't think I'll bite back at the notion that I'm being ungrateful for not applauding the 'tag' that been so kindly sprayed on my property without my knowledge :thumbsd:

Have you seen 'exit through the gift shop'? it's genius. I still don't know if its a pisstake but it doesn't matter. Whether it is or it isn't doesn't take away from how good this documentary film is.

yeah love it:thumbsu:

^^^^This would be kids no older than 14. Graffiti has some unwritten rules in it and tagging peoples front fences is one of them. Along with churches etc.
