just wondering if there are any fiscal rewards for winning the grand final or finishing second? Is it mainly a pride thing?

If we win Vlad will deduct travel costs and ground expenses from it and we'll get a bill.

If things haven't changed since 2010 then the prize pool for the game is $1.7 million with the winner getting $1.1 and the loser $600k.
