I've mentioned this in the 'omens' thread on the main board but every time I buy a Grand Final version of the footy record we lose so I will not be entering a discussion on who it is, I will not be even flicking through the record at my local newsagents.

I have to try and find one in a shitty town in Queensland. I managed to do it in '07 and we won, so I'm hoping I can do it again for the same result.

If the future were to be decided by someone's action(s), he or she sure as hell wouldn't know about it.

I bought the Record this morning but haven't had a chance to look at it yet... just went and checked the cover and it's definitely Chappy but it's a strange photo... looks like it's been photoshopped in some way?

The Record covers have been awesome examples of what NOT to do with Photoshop this year. Check out Judd and Brown, for example.

Dasher's Round 12 cover was by far the worst I've seen in some time.

And good to see that Eric Bana scored the Record's cover last weekend, given that he's a huge Saints fan.

Let's face it - if you manage to Photoshop an image to a point where the subject is virtually unrecognisable, you're pretty much doing it wrong.

The main difference is that the match-day version has the selected team list, like a normal record. Not sure about Brownlow stuff, although it would make sense.
