Man this guy is a champion.

Almost singlehandedly put us on his shoulders and dragged us back into the game.

39 possies (11 contested)
8 inside 50s
7 clearances
1 goal
7 tackles

Yep, he turns games. I reckon he's a better player than Judd.

Didn't use the ball particularly well, but he gained plenty of metres and got some important clearances. Going to give the Brownlow a shake.

When the ball is in his hands you know something good will happen.

Pretty good thing that he gets it 30 times every match.

How good was that second quarter?

Really, he just willed us back into that game.

Before tonight, I wondered if we were a premiership threat.

With Dane Swan in our side, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

The main is a beast, unstoppable, untaggable and simply put the most in form player in the AFL.

Elite, just plain elite, is Dane Swan.:D:thumbsu:

(And not too bad as my DT captain either).:p

Did exactly the right thing in the wind! BOMB IT LONG! haha, loved his game.

bucks in his prime along side swan right now , god thatd be awesome to see.

thought him and pendles dug us out of that hole really well tonight, both were top shelf

He was brilliant tonight, almost single handedly brought us back into the game tonight

He is in the top 10 in the league and i am happy to let everyone say that he gets cheap possessions because i know how good he really is.

People always fall back to the same argument of cheap stats, can't kick etc. but this guy is one of the best in the comp. Still not rated as highly as he should be, but I'm sure he won't mind that.

Geez, this are incredible stats. The worry is that we are becoming too reliant on Swanny to have a blinder,it's time someone else stepped up.
Do you mind if i borrow your table for some Bay action?

That table is impressive. I definitely think it's time Swan was recognised as being an elite midfielder, alongside Ablett and Judd as the best in the comp. The tag of his disposals not hurting enough is an absolute myth and probably the big reason why he's still considered behind those two by most neutrals.

Dunno if we rely too much on Swanny, he's an important player, but would losing Swan hurt us more than Geelong missing Ablett or Carlton missing Judd? I don't think so.

Carlton are nothing without Judd, Geelong can cover Ablett's absence most of the times. I was thinking more along the lines if Swanny has a quite game we tend to struggle.

Yeah man, use it for what ever you want.
