Now heres a challenge.
Shane McGrath or Michael Cooke???
Ok no more nightmare jokes (though i always thought Mcgrath could have been a player with a bit more application)....
Jason or Peter.
How, i mean how can they be split?
The greatest team player ever (Bung) or the undisputed master of the goal square (Huddo).
I guess i saw 98% of Jasons games, against seeing Huddo in 77 when he was fat, slow and painfully out of shape for league footy (still kicked 110) when we were flying him in for games.
Jason worked so hard, he must have given away at least 300 (going that he normally dished off at least one a match, or more on occasions). Hudson was given the front half of the field to be left alone and do his stuff.
Gee its hard to call, heart says Jason, head says Huddo, logic after looking at their respective careers, taking into account that Hudson was about to enter his greatest period when he did his knee.....
Talent wise, Hudson clearly. For service, workrate and an capacity to rise when he was really required in close games (how many times did he save our bacon with two goals in the last five minutes). ]
Dunstall. But gee what a back up.
*Special mention to Mick Moncreiff, excellent full forward and great clubman to boot* Pecky too!
