Not having seen Farmer play, i'm going to have to be biased and vote Wanganeen.

Legend at two clubs, stood up when it counted, and managed to be consistently amazing. His goal in the last quarter of the 2004 prelim is the best clutch goal i've ever seen.

Yes, but that still remains to be seen.

As for Long, he'd only be ahead of Egan, McLean, The Burgoynes, McAdam and Chris Johnson.

Can't remember the exact results, but remember thinking (as with most of the footballing community when asked these types of questions), there was way too emphasis on modern players.

IMO- Farmer, Cable, then a player noone seems to have mentioned, Maurice Rioli.
