Europe - The Final Countdown - first album brought

Pretty good album, an an excellent song. I think the follow-up single was "Rock The Night" which was also a corker, but only got to the lower reaches of the charts... as did the appalling third single "Carrie".

The Baby's - Isn't it time.

Promises - Baby it's you.

The Baby's - Isn't it time.

.

Follow up single ' Every Time I Think Of You ' did pretty well in early '79 and you could possibly count John Waite's solo stuff int he 80s, particularly that painful ' Missing You ' crap.

A few off the top of my head:

Baby Come Back - Player

Romeo - Mr Big

Dancing In The City - Marshall / Hain

Jackie Blue - Ozark Mountain Blue Devils

Halfway Hotel - Voyager

Love At First Night - Kim Hart

Lady Love - Meo 245

A lot of people make that mistake. The ' Mr Big ' who had ' Romeo ' were an English band who had a sloitary hit with that track in 1977.

The other Mr Big who had that hit in the 90s were ( I think ) Australian an a completely different outfit.

Oops, yes, it was Daredevils, not Blue Devils....got the band and song title mixed up.

A few others:

Baked Beans - Mother Goose

Jump Up and Down, Wave your Knickers In The Air - St Lucia

Good Morning, How Are You - Moir Sisters

Darlin' - Frankie Miller

Lucky Stars - Dean Friednam / Denise Marsa

Ernie - Benny Hill

and would Mario Millo count for her part in ' Six Ribbons ' with Jon English?
