After a Friday nights win it was just brilliant top stand around the Grog Squad with about 200 others and listen to these guys go off. I stood there and recorded em on my mobile for about 30-40mins and they didnt shut up the whole time. I couldn't help thinking as I left that the chills these guys give you after a victory like that are one of the reasons its great to be a Tiger. Imagine in a couple of years what sort of support a successful Richmond FC will stir up! Can't wait.

i was right in the middle of it :)

been standing with the grog squad all year

after about 30 minutes of chanting after the game

one of the older blokes ended up saying to me

imagine what it would be like if we won a grandfinal

god i think we would be chanting at the G till about 8 oclock the next morning


btw is there any chance you can upload the video onto youtube or anything ?

would be much appreciated
 
has anyone got the words for the songs they sing???

yeah my mate got a video of it aswell. i'll see if i can get that on here aswell. that one goes for about 3 minutes or so i think.

My late friend use to love the grog squad he'd always text me to meet up their before the game started.

I used to be in the grog squad a couple of years ago but since I've given up the grog I don't go there any more.

They are awesome.


Miss the atmosphere there.

**** I love this club.

Still the greatest club in Australia.

Biggest club in the country. We'll average 60,000 a game in a couple of years. We are not just the biggest, but we are the loudest. A richmond supporter is louder than any other fan. We go nuts after a goal. Well I do anyway :cool:

As much as l'm proud to be a tiger supporter and l love the way we go ****ing mental... this thread has also reminded me of one of my darkest memories and embarassing moments...

The roar-o-meter... **** me! :D

The only thing that saved us from being a total basketcase, was the dog that used to appear everytime the bullies got a sausage roll.
