Mine’s a GT SoS, so not one of the new Mach 1’s, although I faced a similar dilemma to the Mach 1 owners as the “world” version of the GT came without many of the features of the US version (mostly due to having to comply with road regulations of European countries with far stricter requirements).

$35k ish later and I had the full US version stuff plus more.

I was seriously tempted to look at the Mach 1 but I knew our version wasn’t going to be nearly as shmick as the Fighter Grey version the US has. I didn’t need a brochure to inform or deceive me and I’d already looked into the possibilities of rectifying it’s shortcomings, which several blokes I know have had done. Their beefed up Machs are sensational and lacking nothing.

or they hold onto it and it expires or the store goes out of business, and if they spend it on crap maybe they prefer crap.

oh yes.. had some great debates with teenagers

I've been driving for 35 years, yet said teenagers think they are a better driver than me. So i point out that if you'd been practising piano for 35 years then you might just be better than someone who's been practising for a year.
They don't get that concept....
