A recently developed guilty pleasure for me is watching WWE Afterburn - quite possibly the trashiest show on television but I find myself compelled to watch and can't wait for the next episode...

Something about this reeks of a Cameraman ego thread:rolleyes:

Ever had a beer and smoked in the bath whilst watching professional wrestling?

No?

You haven't lived.

As an avowed wrestling addict, I highly approve of your choice of guilty pleasures. Lost touch for a while there (mostly during the so-called "Attitude Era"), but now that I have a six year old son who is obsessed with it, I'm back on board in a huge way. Love it.

As it happens, I was reading an interesting article the other day about the 11 WWE wrestlers who were banned late last year for contravening the WWE's Wellness Policy, which was established in the wake of the Chris Benoit double-murder tragedy. It was created to, among other things, perform random drug tests on the WWE's stable of wrestlers. Some of wrestling's biggest names were found to be taking a banned, steroid-type substance, all supplied by the same dodgy chemist, and were duly suspended (read: temporarily written out of story lines).

I didn't read anything about it at the time, and the WWE themselves never made much noise about it, for obvious reasons. But for those who may be interested, here is the list of wrestlers who received suspensions.....

* Edge
* Randy Orton
* Santino Marella
* John Morrison
* Chavo Guerrero
* Mr Kennedy
* William Regal
* King Booker
* Shane Helms
* Simon Dean
* Charlie Haas

Funaki, Batista, and Chris Masters were also found to be on the client list of the chemist in question, but all three were cleared.

When it comes to doing the above I like to take it up a notch.

I make dope the deciding factor.

Not into wrestling.
Love Buffy The Vampire Slayer, its more realistic and asskickinging.
And their prettier.

Wrestling is not fake, it's scripted.

Just like Buffy.

Anyhoo, I dig 'em both.

(Especially dig Faith and her pvc pants. While I'm on the subject, massive shout-out to the WWE Divas.)

Fair enough, lets just say i'm a nitpicker when it comes to good acting/choreography.

Faith in just about anything for mind.

Expect the beautiful Miss Dushku as "Echo" in the upcoming Dollhouse series.
Now that will be worth repeating.

Huge fan.

She'd go very well in my bath!

I lost interest in WWF when Don Driggers and Rusty Brooks split up. It was such a shame as I was sure that they were on the cusp of actually winning a bout. I briefly regained interest when Brooks got together with Barry O, but the magic just wasn't there.

I remember watching the WCW when I was younger and saw Bret Hart go to town on Sting with a baseball bat. I've never liked Hart after that... Sting was awesome

Wolfpac> WCW > NWO > WWE > New WWE.

Fact.

Ultimate Warrior> Sting> Kevin Nash> Scott Hall> Randy Savage> Shawn Michaels> Mick Foley> DDP> Goldberg > Kane > HHH > The Undertaker > Everyone Else

Edited for greater accuracy.

You are just too young to fully understand:D
