Gutnick returned to the Demons for the first time in eight years yesterday and refused to rule out pitching in significantly more than his membership subscription.

"I wouldn't rule out anything. Business is going OK," Gutnick told the Herald Sun.

We don't want to be relying on donations in the long-term, but nice to hear nonetheless.

Good on you Joe, Jimmy continues to do all the right things.

The important thing is he and all other supporters who were disenfranchised with the previous administation are brought back. If they donate money of course that's great too, but it's the symbol of unity that's important for me.

Things certainly keep looking up. Very happy to see that he's slowly coming back into the fold.

I couldn't help but notice this sentence in the article that just reminded me of just how much I hate the Herald Sun:

"I've been following it on TV, newspapers . . . the Herald Sun," Gutnick said.

For all we know, the . . . could have been him saying:

"I've been following it on TV, newspapers, just not in the Herald Sun," Gutnick said.

Agreed, we can not understate the importance of this. Lets hope it sets a example for all supporters to follow & let go of issues for the sake of the club.
