I'd be dropping Hulme before Clarke. Reckon Hulme had a shocker today. Clarke didn't havea great game, but he did a few things and had a very tough assignment.

For someone as "skilled" as David Clarke, I'm sure lacing his boots up would be considered a "tough assignment".....which could really explain his lack of ability to hit a target.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone come off the bench, make a critical mistake costing the team a goal and then getting dragged all in the space of 90 seconds.

No and while I reckon you deserved the spoon last year, I never thought you'd get it this year. Probably better than Geelong, Melbourne and the Bulldogs. And I wouldn't be entirely surprised if you finish higher than the Crows.

They wanted it more today IMHO. Harder at the contest, worked harder and were coached very well. At no point could we shake them.

North were playing cocky, showy footballer and were rubbish in the 2nd half. Most disapointing was our senior players either going missing or stuffing around with their form.

Carlton are still just a working footy side, but they could shake the finals this year.

I agree with ya Northbhoy....can't tolerate the Blues but I gotta give credit where it's due... a game that had me filing me out of the ground without a wimper...quite dissappointed like we lost the game BUT BLOODY relieved with the lucky result.
