Alright it's time for an amateur review from the Kochmeister.
I went to WOW sight & Sound the other day looking for Black Lagoon and this series caught my eye, the concept of being trapped in an online universe seemed interesting enough but what really got my attention is that it had the same designer from Evangelion & the writer of Ghost in the shell.
So I bought the series and finished watching it within 24hrs. Although it isn't the greatest anime ever it's got to be up there with some of the best. I really liked the alternative approach the creators took to create an anime that has a very deep character driven story rather than relying solely on action/fight scenes to sell it.
Also the soundtrack has got to be the best i've heard in an anime ever (although i've only seen like 15 complete anime series thus far
).
Anyone else's thoughts?
