Half Time and Cox has gotta go back to the VFL. He turns the ball over every game and it costs us too many goals and as for Leigh Brown...look at the way he holds the footy when going for goal.

What the hell does Cox do wrong every week for people to talk him down?

He has been consistently good.

Leigh Brown has been terrible. Absolutely terrible. Talk about a walking momentum killer....

Our misses are killing us. Lockyer should've got both his chances, brown should've converted his two simple shots (I'll forgive him for the one from 50). Swan and Fraser should've both converted too.

Annoying.

This is appalling. How can we be so good and then so bad. Its like they think they are fantastic and stop doing the little things. I hate calling players out but in that qtr;

H.Shaw was shocking! turned it over, did dumb things like letting the ball go back into the corridor

Swan - his turnover from the back pocket and blindly kicking to CHB started the rot. His inability to kick straight for goal even worse.

N.Brown - He has to harden up. He should have buried Varcoe instead varcoe went on and kicked an easy one.

Lockyer and L.Brown - had 5 shots between them and all were shocking misses.

Davis / Pendlebury / OBree - lots of kicks in back half but none in danger spots.

And I am not even sure if Dicks been on that long but he aint up to the pace at this stage. He has not had a touch. Why Wellingham or McCarthy arent instead of this bloke is beyond me.

Cox - to be fair done some nice things and is running but he can turn the ball.

Tonight the game plan at times has been good but the kicking is awful

L Brown is poo. Chappy has run wild against us. I was expecting Toovey to play a hard tag on Chapman so was surprised when he got dropped.

Besides the shots on goal, I dont think we are watching the same game (and I am taking into account that you only posted up to half time)

Cox turns the ball over a lot. I dont want him dropped for it, because he is prepared to break a line and have a dip

Brown has presented and worked hard... two misses on goal (like everyone else!)

Hmmm I think Cox is playing pretty good. Thomas and Medhurst doing nothing ( is it just me or is Medhurst looking a little lighter?)

We have shown glimpses toadey, just lacked the class to finish off good scoring opportunities.

Leigh Brown was guilty of this a number of times though there were many others too. Locks and Fraser missed a few crunch shots too.

Overall not the most soul destroying loss possible.

I'm not sure what game you were watching, but Collingwood had their fair share of umpiring decisions that went their way too (Anthony goaling after pushing 1 person in the back, then another in the face).

We would've almost been 50 points up, and Geelong wouldn't have come back. Those set shots cost us the game.

I thought we at least broke even in the umpiring, I consider it a non-factor.

If Cox is to be dropped to the VFL, he'd have some competition because Brad Dick and Leigh Brown should be there ahead of him. Ben Johnson will be out for at least 12 weeks if he's broken his leg, and Heath Shaw sounds like he might miss a couple with a hamstring.

We ought to switch Thomas to HBF (for Johnson) like we did in the NAB Cup, bring in Stanley, along with Dawes/Rocca (for Brown) and perhaps MacAffer? It'll push Josh in the ruck, but Cox can give him a chop out.
