I wish I had more time to play. Fighting with my mum, having a girl friend and working all the time really provides limited time for me to play.

Sucks hard man.

Question guys.

Im looking to buy this game off ebay from dungeoncrawl, which will probably come as a NTSC-J game seeing its so cheap.

Im basically asking with a NTSC-J version of the game will it work on my PAL console.

I know 360 games are usually region locked, but I doubt they'd be selling it if it didnt work on Australian consoles seeing its an Australian based warehouse.

Suggest you do the RvB easter egg on the last chapter of Episode 5 of spartan ops.

Instead of getting rocket launchers and spartan lasers you get "sporting equipment" I.e Gravity hammers.

Smashing Grav Hammers on Hunters and seeing them fly in the air was quite fun.

Have only been able to get a Spartan ops matchmaking game once, shootout a couple of weeks ago, and even then the lag made it basically unplayable.

Did hear the RvB Easter egg when the mantis' got dropped off though, quite funny.

Yeah? I get a good game all the time, then again I think I'm host all the time. :)

Having a so, so round on Big team Slayer yesterday. Probably mid pack just keeping my kill/death positive.

I then get hold of the Gauss Hog with a decent driver.

4.5 seconds later, my first Killionaire :)

There have been some massive changes to this game

With a big weapon update coming on June 3rd

For those who don't know here are some of the changes that have happened recently:

- Addition of Forge Maps into most playlists
- Addition of Multi-Team and Rumble Pit
- Addition of Red X over teammates who die (Like the previous games)

And the June 3rd update which will (subject to change)

- Increase the BR to a 4 Shot Kill like the previous Halo Games (And lower the fire rate slightly, almost unnoticeable)
- Increase the Carbine to a 7 Shot Kill and slightly reduce projectile spread
- Increase the Rate of Fire of Light Rifle when scoped in as well as increasing the Range
- Decrease the range of the DMR
- Increase damage of automatic weapons (except the SAW) and reduce auto-aim on automatic weapons
- Slightly increase damage of the pistol
- Increase Damage of the Warthog gun

I've taken a slight break from Halo 4 but will come back once these balancing changes are implemented. My only worry is that the Automatic Weapons might be useless against some of the precision rifles even in close-medium range.

Shame they couldn't have just implemented these from the start before my interest in multiplayer had waned five months ago (all of which were in Reach).

Here is some more that have happened

- Pro slayer options
- Complex moved to big team
- Castle map pack which is great
- skill rank
- Forge Island

If anyone is interested, the big weapon balancing changes are now implemented. Here are the changes that have been made

Battle Rifle

The Battle Rifle damage has been increased. The Battle Rifle is now capable of killing in four bursts.
The Battle Rifle rate of fire has been slightly decreased.
The Battle Rifle red reticle range (range at which auto-aim benefits kick in) has been decreased.
Two bursts from a Battle Rifle followed by a melee will now kill an opponent (2-shot melee).

Carbine

The Carbine damage has been increased. The Carbine is now capable of killing in seven rounds.
The Carbine accuracy has been increased (projectile spread decrease).
The Carbine red reticle range has been decreased.

LightRifle

The LightRifle zoomed rate of fire has been increased.
The LightRifle un-zoomed rate of fire has been slightly decreased.
The LightRifle red reticle range has been increased to match the updated DMR range.

DMR: The DMR red reticle range has been slightly decreased.

Assault Rifle

The Assault Rifle damage has been slightly increased. The Assault Rifle now kills in three less rounds.
The Assault Rifle auto-aim angle has been reduced.
The Assault Rifle projectile spread has been decreased.

Storm Rifle

The Storm Rifle damage has been increased. The Storm Rifle now kills in three less rounds.
The Storm Rifle auto-aim angle has been reduced.
The Storm Rifle projectile spread has been decreased.

Suppressor

The Suppressor damage has been increased. The Suppressor now kills in three less rounds.
The Suppressor auto-aim angle has been reduced.
The Suppressor projectile spread has been decreased.

SAW: The SAW's damage has been increased to maintain double the damage-per-second of the Assault Rifle.

Magnum: The damage has been slightly increased. The Magnum is still capable of killing in six rounds.
Vehicles: The damage has been increased on both the Mantis and Warthog Chain Gun.
Player Movement: Player Speed has been increased from 100% to 110%

Another change is that weapon/vehicle spawns have been changed in the majority of maps. From what I've played and what others have said, it seems that random weapon spawns have been removed (from the majority of maps anyway). Playing through a couple of games, The BR is a BEAST (Think Halo 2 BR). The Assault Rifle takes some getting used to with the reduced aim assist but when you get used to it, it's still a viable option. Overall, the changes have improved Halo 4 for the better and has made it feel a tiny bit more like the Halo we've come to know.

We are thrilled to announce the Halo 4 Champions Bundle! Coming August 20th, this bundle comes with tons of brand new content like armor and weapon skins, new armors, and two maps, including the return of The Pit, remade for Halo 4 as Pitfall. The Champions Bundle will also introduce Ricochet, a new ball game type. And there's more! Watch the trailer to see it all in action.
The Champions Bundle will be available on 8/20/13 for 800 Microsoft Points. Stay tuned to www.halowaypoint.com for more info.

The new game mode Ricochet is basically oddball but with goals that you either run over or throw the ball at to score.. If the armour/weapon skins aren't your thing, then you can get the 2 maps and game mode for 480 MP (Not sure what the Australian price will be). Another gametype called Legendary Slayer (which they still haven't revealed what it actually is) will be released later this month.

EDIT: The Ricochet gametype will be free I think, map pack just allows you early access to it.

Change it to H3 multiplayer and I'll play it again.

Well looks like you might have you wish.

Legendary Slayer is a variant that focuses on basic gameplay with only one loadout, on-map weapons and motion tracker enabled. Here are the key settings:
  • 4 vs. 4 Slayer
  • Default starting weapon (Assault Rifle)
  • No Armor Abilities
  • Motion Tracker enabled
  • All weapons and grenades located on map (no initial, random or personal ordnance)
The singular loadout is:
  • Starting weapon: Assault Rifle
  • Secondary weapon: None
  • Armor Ability: None
  • Grenades: Frag x2
  • Support upgrade: Explosives
  • Tactical package: Resupply
We’re excited to deliver a brand-new experience to Halo 4 Matchmaking that will focus on even starting weapons and map control, with players fighting to gain control of all rifles, power weapons and each map’s power positions. The Legendary Slayer playlist launches Monday, July 15

To summarise, Classic Slayer (With sprint) is coming back this Monday Night. Bit late and with sprint (Though understandably since all the maps were built with sprint in mind) but better late than never.

Step in the right direction but sprint and certain weapon damages can gtfo. It would be nice if more people played this game; I played it about a week ago and there was only about 15-20k playing. I don't remember Halo 3 getting that low when I played it, certainly not less than a year after release.

Hivemind a new flood/infection game type is awesome!!!
Normal colours
Flood don't have boost
start with AR
pick up weapons on map
can be hit more than once
