Impressed with this kid...can take a mark when needed and seemingly handy in the ruck, even though we were killed in the ruck & stoppages all night!

Nevermind 2 or 3 years, he looks set to make an impact this season from what we saw tonight.

Might not be dominant in the ruck contests yet, but his attack on the ball and willingness to seek out a goal make him very dangerous.

From a neutral perspective, i think u guys seriously have a good 1 here, Hampson looks a beauty. Big lump of a lad with some mongrel in him. I liked the way he ran with the flight a few times not worried about what was coming the other way.

Yep, our big man stocks are coming along just fine. Our mid looks solid. I think our back line will be ok. We just need to find a good CHF

Extremely impressive young man, and i can't help but be so excited about our future rock stocks with Kruezer and Hammo in charge.
Cloke also seemed to do pretty well today and who knows what Aisake could do.

Unfortunately Parrot, i think Ackland will get a few games to fill in a bit of experience. Our young rucks in Cloke, Hampson and Krueze might get a bit battered by the end of the season. You know what young talls are like.

He will probably get games, but i dont think he will play much of each game. As an assistant to a tired Hammo or Kreuz, or Cloke, or Setanta, or Aisake (the list goes on, and on, and on, an-)

Hughes should be congratulated for the drafting of Hampson. He avoided picking the Herald Sun Favorites, and did his own groundwork, and unearthed a future star. A drafting masterstroke.
