George Bush has spent more money than Mark Latham spent at Liverpool Council. The US economy is in a very vulnerable position at the moment. If the US economy crashes, then it's bad news for us.

As for being scared of terrorists and wars? Bush doesn't have enough resources to attack anyone else. The terror situation will amble on like it did pre-Iraq. I don't think his redneck ways are too much to worry about at the moment. I think a world wide crash and recession is a much greater probability.

I have no doubt the US election does impact us here but I'm also aware that Bush hasa polarising effect of people so, specifically, what is it people are worried about in particular?
