Not just a great Sunnyboys track but the way I feel at the moment. I know I've knocked off 3 long necks of Carlton Draught but I will try to give an honest assessment of the Hawks performance.

Great last quarter. For mine, more impressive than the first as North (the traditional enemy) really had the momentum going and it is always hard to stop a team on the run. Best players:

Chick (sensational effort presented himself all day), Adrian Cox (great game by the Nutter), Osbourne (I wanna nickname him "Sabbath" after Black Sabbath's lead singer-great effort for three goals), Van Den Berg (is that the right spelling? either way one of the hardest workers in the game), Lekkas (the best un-assuming player in the competition, the more opposition team players ignore him, the better he plays) and Crawford (good captain's effort). Despite Carey's three goals, Joel Smith was awesome at centre half back and can maybe consider adding another notch to his bow.

Thommo and Dutch both dog of a day but presented themselves and delivered at the right time. Ditto Harford.

A good gutsy win and I think we are headed for a good season this year.

Yes, certainly a great win especially with the fact we had three of our top 6 players missing. Can someone tell me about Dicko's injury?
