I have a feeling that the Ansett cup will be used to soften up a few top players.
Young guns who are hoping for games in the real season will be asked to prove their worth by playing hard on an experienced opponent who wont want to go in too hard for fear of pre~season injury.
Tonights game at Subi will be interesting. Roos have brought all batting Carey and 'Mad Mick', I predict some hard stuff.

Let's face it, a team that wins the Ansett cup but picks up half a dozen injuries to team regulars will be a nett loser.

Frodo I cant wait to see Troy Wilson in action you seen the size of that guy and he reckons he is not going to hold back,wants to known as the tough guy of the coasters.Well he can talk the talk lets see if he can walk the walk.
p.s. for those of you wondering about this guy he is a 29 year old rookie ,built like Jako and he is hard and relentless at the ball and the man and has only got one shot at it .

Pity we cant see it on television. How the hell can the Pies - Stkilda game be telecast live into Melbourne against the gate and yet the West Coast - North game at 10.30 at night is not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha he beat Archer to a great mark and Archer fell on his ass. The kid or should i say old man looks good. Im thinking possible CHF hes built and very quick, can take the overhead mark and leads straight up the ground.

Wilson did have a fair crack last night didn't he? I'd love to see him get noticed a bit up forward and I'm sure he can match the physical stuff with any other defender in the league.
