My market is to 120% but TABs is over 130%. Ultimate Sniper will most likely win but $1.40 is short. I can see getting $1.50 on the night

Ashley Locaz the bet, will wait for some more markets but a very small win bet and big place bet is the go I reckon.

Devils Own ranked okay on my power rankings but never have a draw. Has drawn two in the consolation. Worth an EW ticket @ $17

Winterfell wins the Trotters ID! Very good win. Majestic Man good run. Massive Metro an absolutely massive run - run of the race for mine flew under the radar but had a great series.

Sniper great but owners of other Purdon horses all have a right to be questioning tactics. Thefixer was huge, was given no chance as was my bet Ashley locaz

Got to say, i am a bit surprised about the animosity over harness racing in the Tout thread. I know i am a bit older than most but back in the day Harness racing went hand in hand with thoroughbred racing. Was City racing during the day and off to Mooney Valley at night so i didnt think it would be a problem.
Having said that i have dropped off harness racing big time for many reasons but mainly cos i cannot watch them on Sky without them being moved or a greyhound race goes over them, the proliferation of trotters races in quad legs and sprint lanes/shorter races.
But i have always said i am always more confident of a good thing at the Harness than at the thoroughbreds, i just dont know the horses any more

Would have to ask the question if short priced trots were so much easier then why aren't there more people betting into it on this board. Easy money apparently.

Seems to be a swing away from it across the general public the lack of movement in races and short priced faves drives away the friday night people whacking 50 down on a horse that takes their fancy. Has copped it more than TBreds with swing towards sports multi betting (which in itself is a worse case scenario for punters than anything racing/pacing provides).

I am pretty sure its a combination of sky channel treating it like shit, races taking too long, and moving bases away from the city and stuffing around with the conditions and places of the main races like the Interdom and Miracle mile. Casuals will go in and bet on the greyhounds because there is a race every 2 minutes and it takes 30 seconds.
I do hate sprint lanes but that might be only me as most i speak too like it so they get a clear run. I argue there are so many other minuses for sprint lanes but no one listens to me!
Another thing, RAcing.com has so much spare time on a Sat night, its a no brainer for Harness authorities to biuy the whole of sat night and showcase the Melton trots, i would watch and i bet many thoroughbred lovers would watch too. But like Horse racing, Harness RAcing is run by incompetents

There's concerns around integrity probably more so than gallops. Plenty of team driving but even beyond that the BF pre-race moves often tell a story on how the race will be run, who will lead etc. It's also quite easy to have a long shot pressure a leader, plus other tactics which can have a significant impact on the race outcome.
