Embarassing driving. They dont try lead on the fastest horse. Then they (mccarthy stable) lets horses who shouldn't have got around it (the fave)... around..... then ingeniously Numerone Amenophis is sitting out 3 wide in a brilliant tactical move, first split 28.9.... UK Connection also planted off the track when he makes his run... pretty impressive drawn the pole.

I could write a book on how bad these guys can drive at times.

Times like this i know why i think Shane Graham has and will always be the best driver in the country. Embarasses the rest in ability.
 
Ultimo would be leading under any decent driver. Baddd front row. Interest to see how a real driver (Tuscan Abbe, inside back row) does here. I think he has to work off the fence, circle and breeze.

This race is very weak. Bottom one Montana Pablo should get alot of respect if that field he beat last start was of any quality.

Ultimo shocking. Shocking drive too. Shane stayed in? Bullimore who he used to drive speared out for him? It's won but i seriously have to wonder if these guys are all having a conferance in the rooms on whos doing what. If Bullimore had enough speed to keep them out there then why wouldn't he have led those races around Redcliffe?

I'll answer my own question. Shane told the driver of Bullimore to spear out.

No reason to bet on harness when these guys won't drive to form. Anyway Shane gets another winner.
 
I bet on Sounds Alive last start, had to make his run very early but was weak on the line. Weak race tho so has a chance.
 
Jasper Gold ran really well last start. Drew perfect to get the lead and somehow managed to breeze the whole way indicating the drivers a knob and failed narrowly. I like Shuns Bro and he won easily last start. Had it won a long way out but it worries me a horse like El Charro has sat outside him and beat him in recent runs. Interest in Shane again (Eternal Rock). His horse knocks these sort of horses out when he wins. Shane back driving so expect improvement.
 
First winner 7 races down but it paid nice at 5.90

what a c*** of a drive. Breezed outside Our Crown Law.... and it still bolted in! super horse that! that paid 6.10 so shocking start but beating the tab at least unit per unit!
 
Next in QLD...... Some brilliant beginners here. Well Caught Marsh and Lebron are two of the fastest beginners anywhere in the country. Can Maywyn Tonz hold either of them out? I have no idea but i wouldn't think so. I can't remember why but i remember thinking Maywyn Tonz is overrated last time he was racing. I like Lebron here, i hope he leads because if he does he might very well smash them. If he doesn't, then race is open. Horses like Jacka Limon or even Elzar who i think is the most overrated horse in the state might come over the top.

If only Lebron led, sigh.... What were the quarters? 27.6 29.8 28.6... set up for that junk fave to just get there.... that result annoys me!

Mexican Invasion.... topsy turvy form and max handicap.
 
Silver Spur unstretched since joining new stable. Won with incredible ease his last 2 runs. Driver in kick ass form. Big chance i believe. Rocket Beebee looks the leader. Times were good last start when he won. Ignoring times tho the horse has battled his previous runs against mediocre opposition. Hope Advanced Crossing puts the acid test on from the breeze. Every time that horse pushes forward its a quick run race.

Going to draw a line throgh Return of the King beating home Jazzabout recently off the track. Jazzabout is going great and i do wonder if Rocket Beebee can sprint fast enough when it matters.

Silver Spur is a big special here. I would go wack here if i was to bet :)

liked Lochinver because its shown in his single run to have a. the speed to lead and b. gapped them. Harder race obviously but on the strenth of Atom of Courage running like a demon im liking that stable right now :)

Interesting race coming up in QLD. Shane gets the pegs first. He's a champion of champions. He'll get Riverboats Stars back. 2 place dividends. He'll get that second! I have faith!
 
something random.... Jolllygood Jent 4.20 fixed price second fave....

1. Only runs his best with the old man driving
2. no hope with Riverboat Star in the race

How does that clown fixing the price figure out 4.20? I'd want people to back that horse and who would take 4.20 that knows these horses. That bookie must hate money.
 
Pete Mcmullen having a shocking night. Cant drive to save his life. So embarassing for him. He should retire! ..... no not really but wow is he driving bad. Good win Shaney! :)
