Another no fuss, no problem game from Harry.
He just makes the right decisions.
He'll do well in the Copeland this year.
Used to go well in GWS's too. Just a really good allround player

I know he desires more midfield minutes but he looked at home across half back.

Perhaps GWS continued to play him there for a reason and that reason was he's bloody good in that role.

With Houston out needs to stay behind the ball against the lions
Agree. Looks a better defender than our other mids, but on par as a midfielder - seems a no brainer to me.

Smart, dependable, clean footballer.

I was not a fan of pushing him back against the Swans because of the make of their midfield but to be honest with Long Nick and Sidey dominating they barely fired a shot. Plus Pez obviously showed he’s a strong defender. Against the Lions without Houston it’s a no brainer, they’ll want to take territory and Pez will help repel the forward entries they’ll send to their medium/smalls.

Reminds me of another astute Pies pick up who wore the number 12, Luke Ball.

Hard, reliable, defensively solid, best 18 lock each week.

Adds another layer of quality and depth to the squad. Great pick up.
He's a great pick up for this year, but then becomes even more important when the veterans depart. Despite the carry on about us targetting mature players and becoming dad's army, he's actually going to be ideal for our transition from the oldies.

He is 25/26 he could play another 7-10 Seasons

More Players are playing past 30 and still playing very well

Became Dan Houston for two weeks and did an adequate job.

Good average foot soldier .. for what we paid …
Huh? He is probably our most versatile player who has had to plug different holes due to the mistakes of others. He’s shown he can be a ball-winner, defensive midfielder, and slot into our backline seamlessly. Huge value pickup

Without getting into a debate on what he’s getting paid, he’s been a great pick up, he makes us better and the versatility is massive bonus. A massive Dane Swan fan too.

The salary doesn’t bother me, especially as the numbers are subject to extremely wild speculation ranging from $750-900k. If LDU gets $1.3m…

But as you say, it doesn’t matter. He’s filling multiple roles well and is clearly well regarded

No cost draft wise is a huge bonus. Schultz may be on less money but the draft cost was huge not that it was his fault we overpaid for him.

I absolutely agree that Perryman is a great pickup...

But... Big Bill Frampton is a Premiership forward who can play fulltime ruck and KPD.... ;)

I think it's a bit early to decide whether or not we overpaid for him.
If he keeps playing the way he has this year, we might view him as a bargain in due course.
Best to wait and see.
