Houston didn’t play vs Swans or Lions which was my point. Perryman moved into his role in his absence. Perryman was also in defence in round 0 iirc as Houston was also missing then.

Don't forget the reason we did overpay (I believe he is worth it) is because most people's favourite recruiter big Dekka ****ed up our draft picks for close to 8 years resulting in very little in the Perryman age group still on our list.

I agree. I think missing 3 games broke Houston’s continuity but something about Perryman has just clicked. Feels like he’s been part of our side for years already. He’s just fit in so well.

Houston is still finding his groove with us. But he is elite and a huge asset for us. It’ll come.
