Have been talking to a Geelong Supporter mate of mine while watching the game tonight..

Was in great debate about who is Geelong F.C's number one defender now.

My perspective is that Taylor is now given the tougher jobs, whilst Scarlett is given more freedom and is allowed to play at CHB (instead of always playing FB) if a suitable match up allows..

What do you, as the Geelong supporters think? Who is the GFC's number one defender?

No, Scarlett is generally getting the third forward now.

I do not agree with the decision, as in trying to 'free him up', he is actually having far less of an impact. He has always been good enough to take the full-forward and be damaging going the other way.

Scarlett is a gun but he is not taking the first or second forward all game anymore. Probably as Thompson is planning for the future.
