Have always been a big fan of Hasleby. Didnt have a great year last year due to injury. Just wanted to know how he has been travelling this pre season. Is he injury free? Are you guys expecting a big year from him??

All indications are that he's shaken the hernias and ostetitis pubis that screwed much of his last two years. He's always going to have a doge back, a s aresult of a junior days injury, though I think he'll be able to manage it.

Easily my favourite player. I appreciate the thoughts coming from an opposition supporter.

And it never mattered before :)

Possibly the best natural ball winner that I have seen in the last 5 years...when fit of course.

Came straight into the competition and averaged over 20 possessions in his first year. Averaged 24.4 for 2003 and 2004, before injuries cut his averages back to 21 and 19 in 2005 and 2006.

If we can juuuust get it him fit for the first time in what seems like an enternity, then he can enter the realms of Judd. Of course, not playing the same game with explosive speed and all of that, but through his footy smarts. He could consistently influence games as much as Judd if he can run freely this year.

One of the characteristics of Hasleby's game that i like most is his ability to take an overhead mark. I"m not so sure how tall or short he is, but for a medium sized midfielder he is very strong overhead and can cause a few problem when he goes forward and is tagged by a small type.

He'll probably spend time inside 50 while Farmer is out due to his marking ability, lack of match fitness and accurate kicking.
