Oh, I don't know Alf. By reading some of your comments on other threads, you seem to indicate that the ALP have brought this upon themselves by basically being spineless and not sticking up for what they believed in. If they are this spineless in opposition, there is no way I want them in power.

You know what, I have been thinking exactly the same thing since the result was announced. :mad: Most of the Australian voting public are ill-informed idiots, we see it time and time again. :rolleyes: Pathetic.
 
We will get the government we deserve, and having John Howard back in has made me bloody depressed and angry with the voting population of Australia, and DrAlf and Lioness22, I feel your anguish.:(

YEAH, the Beach Boys were lower-class boys. I'm COMPLETELY missing the relevance though. They got off their arses and made something of themselves with their 'low class tripe', as you so intelligently put it. :rolleyes: And yes, they entertain me. So????

I am upset that Howard got back in BUT we live in a democracy, and majority rules. The majority wish to have Johnny as Prime minister, so i must accept that as part of democracy, and i will. Still doesn't change MY beliefs, and what I wish for australia.
Good luck to Johnny, i Hope he does the country good in this term, and good luck to Kim in his new position

Howard ran a scare campaign, and for reasons unknown it worked.

The Australian people have VERY short memories. They do not seem to remember 6 months into the past, let alone the last two terms in office for the Howard government.

All this, stick with a proven leading during uncertain times, is the biggest load of bull**** i've seen.

Howard won sure, but the real winner was Costello anyway.:confused:
