I won 4-1 while PIC'ing again.. unfortunately the top team won 6-0 so they are still a point ahead, i play them at home this week though

one of my strikers got injured though, 5 mins from time after scoring a brace

won 4-0. both my keepers(1 solid, 1weak) are out injured so i had to play my coach there since he was the next best option. my solid keeper will be back this week hopefully and i can get through my league. My league of bots suddenly became full of active members so it might be a bit tougher but i dont think i will lose a game for the rest of the season.

Im stuffed. No promotion for me. Once again i lost to my bogey side but im getting closer. Last year i'd lose 8-0 now its only 3-0 and the possession was better, still disappointing as ill finish 2nd now (i was 3rd last season)

I had a brilliant keeper. My divine keeper still isn't in great form & I was missing my best defender on the weekend so hopefully there is still plenty of room for improvement.

The improvement looks good thus far, i currently only have a solid keeper, but perhaps at the end of the season i may have enough money for an outstanding or brilliant. We'll see.

Criminally.

I paid $14m for the one with solid passing - and invested 4 or 5 seasons into training the Norwegian, for instance.

Ever since wages were pegged to TSI any player with a skill over Extra Terrestrial is counterproductive because the wages are so crippling - and as such the market for such players has plummetted. This has also pushed the lower tier values down. It's like Wall Street circa 1929 for established teams.

I had to sell a winger I bought as a 17yo (at $6m) that I trained to divine for a little over that because his wages skyrocketed to ridiculous proportions - and he still wasn't good enough for the Polish NT and the wage relief that comes with him appearing for them - and he's been passed around like cigarettes ever since.

I'd love to see a sort of individual salary cap come in - ie, no matter how good a player gets his maximum wage stays at say, $250k, but Hattrick will never allow it as it keeps bringing measures in to help newbies become competitive against established teams quickly.

A recent example is the new rule that stamina will drop if you don't continue to train it - or the strange coincidence that Division V and lower teams regularly have good and great youth pulls, but Division III and up rarely pull anything but utter duds. It's ridiculous.

All that training and saving for big players and you get punished for it.

Best way to do it is to use the 'Transfer Compare' function on the player page. It's so hard to tell these days otherwise - especially with hattrick expanding all the time. The extra Youth Pulls alone has seen the market flooded with quality kids.
