Apparently it's best if you list the player at a time when there are more users online. Unfortunately that seems to be in the middle of the night our time. At the moment there are 11,000 players online, during other times you can get as many 60,000.

Prices are going down because the season is close to ending - a 21 year old is 4 weeks away from 22 now.

You have to try to list your players with a view to the Swedish - Euro market. That is where the numbers are.

Another thing that can help is to try to resist listing your guy the moment you youth-pull him, or on the day he pops after training. If you can wait a few days you can find some guys with money in the pocket (they sold someone on Tuesday) who is desperate for someone to play that weekend.

I like to list guys at 4-6 pm Thursday Melbourne time. This means they are up for auction at 8-10 am Sunday Sweden time. Sweden games are at 10am Sunday in the top-6 leagues (where the cash is).

Lost 5-0. Really struggling at the moment. Sammy, you said selling players now was bad as the price drops. Does that mean buying players now is good?

Cant wait for next season, I should be able to dominate my division but I actually want to stay down for an extra season.

Everyone is about to get a year older.

A lot of clubs will try to sell their 18-20 year olds now to 'trick' newbies into paying higher prices for them. The newbie will think they are getting a bargain when they look at the transfer-compare.

A lot of clubs will be trying to generate cash to enter the auctions for those week 1 and 2 seventeen year olds which are just around the corner.

So is pretty much a buyer's market now.

The one exception is clubs like mine facing a relegation play-off. I am spending cash on reinforcements. Even then I am selling one guy (a midfielder) at bargain prices to generate the cash to buy the defender I need to cover for an injury.

It is a really good time to shop for guys you don't want to train, and older guys (say 23+). They are often being sold on the cheap.

A 17 year old promoted this week will be much much more affordable than an 18 year old promoted in 4 weeks time - despite being much the same player.

How did my coach gain a skill level(playmaking) when he didnt even play a game for the week?

Doesn't every player in your team get a minute % of training in whatever skill you are training despite whether they play & where. Hence you coach went up, but it'll probably take him 20 seasons to go up another level ;)

ok didnt know that. thanks

won my last game 3-1 today to finish 2nd, one spot better than last season
the team which finished 2nd last season won the league
i only lost 2 games all season, both to the top team so hopefully next season i can get promoted

I won 5-1 today. Finished 3rd after winning my last 5 games with a for and against of 25-3. Also, in the middle of upgrading my stadium to 42,000 which should be done before the new season kicks off.

I had a 2-1 win over the top team and cost them promotion. :D

In my first season I finished fourth and this season I finished third so I'd like to think I could give promotion a shake next time round.

won 8-0 MOTSing.

had the top scorer as a defender for the whole season so got the $30,000 fpr that. When am i going to reciev the money for the league premiers and how much will i get for a div vi?

Congrats to all on their seasons!

I have a question though, i will be switching training at the end of next season and i will be selling one of these

Cordes Biene
TSI = 22 100 , 19 years, passable form
Has wretched experience and poor leadership abilities

Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: passable
Winger: world class (+2) Defending: poor
Scoring: inadequate Set pieces: poor

Finn Bagger
TSI = 15 490 , 19 years, passable form
Has wretched experience and wretched leadership abilities [Unpredictable]

Stamina: passable Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: inadequate
Winger: world class (+1) Defending: poor
Scoring: wretched Set pieces: poor

Barring any injury, i think they could make extra-terrestrial by the end of next season. Not much will change in their other skills (except Baggers stamina which should be solid or excellent by next season), but which player will be worth more to my team? Biene for the passing or Bagger for the speciality and perhaps the tiny bit extra pm.

Are they both local? A foreign player costs more in wages, so it one was local and one foreign I'd keep the local.

Other than that little to choose between them. Probably Biene because of the passing, scoring and extra experience.

Ahhhh, i go to organise a friendly and get this ****.

Unfortunately they are both Foreign (German and Danish), but i was thinking Biene mainly because of the passing!

And i'm dreading the wage hike they are going to have shortly, they are only on 5k a week each at the moment.

But cheers for the advice too!

Hey Sammy,
Wantirna South is my team, good win on sunday (think it was 3-2 though). You had a good last half of the season & look forwad to playing you agian next season.

Weaver, i decided to sell Finn Bagger week 0 of next season and replace him now with a FTW trainee since i will be training scoring after the end of next season. Bought this guy;

Per Duven
TSI = 1 680 , 17 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities [Quick]

Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: inadequate
Winger: solid Defending: weak
Scoring: passable Set pieces: passable

384k AU. Should go alright i reckon. Close to popping and he could be brilliant wing by the end of next season in time for switching to scoring. :thumbsu:

Should i get out of debt or should i buy a player that will give me a chance of staying up next season? If I buy the player i will go back to $250,000 in debt but if i dont i will have around $38,000 and out of debt or should i upgrade my stadium as at the moment it can only fit 12,020 and sold out most of my games last year, i have around 850 supporters so should i upgrade to make more money out of my stadium. i have a passable coach and im happy with him so i wont change him till the end of next season minimium.

I'll let one of the experienced players give you advice because I'm in a similar situation to yourself.

I have 988 supporters and had a 12,000 seat stadium. I just sold a trainee that cost me $2,000 in January for $408,000 so I decided to upgrade my stadium. I'm now $250,000 in debt but I'll be selling a similar trainee in a couple of days and with a home cup tie in what will hopefully be a 15,000 seat stadium followed by a couple of home league games I should be able to get out of debt fairly soon. The decision will probably cost me promotion because my midfield is still not good enough but at this stage I'd rather concentrate on improving my trainees and becoming more profitable. Once I get promoted I don't want to see Division VI ever again.

I did make it a priority to upgrade my passable coach to a solid coach as early as I could because the faster training will pay for itself before too long. When you have 10 trainees and they are getting trained at least one week slower you are missing out on a lot of money. That's something I'd look at doing if I was you but as I said I'll let one of Weaver, Dyertribe, Ed_Gein, SammyD, etc advise you.
