Gun Barrel Straight I agree with the form aspect as Im worried about a defender in an identical situation to yours (4 stars in excellent form).

From what Ive seen defenders have the exagerated amount of stars in comparison to their actual skills.

My striker in weak form is getting 6.5 stars with 1 more seasons training before he turns 17 so if I dont get excellent for striking I probably will dump the youth academy.

However it is only 1 week into the youth academys first pulls and most pulls including mine have been on scarp players.
 
i promoted a winger who was getting 4 stars with inad form turns out he only had inad winger and the rest of his skills were disastrous even though ive been training staminafor 4 or 5 weeks now.

into the 3rd round of the cup, got a better midfield than my opponent but the rest is slightly in his favour so not sure if ill be able to pull of a win, though the money should help me out with renovating my stadium to around 20,000+ depending on how long i wait to do it.
 
lost 6-0, got 150k, bloody fans are murderous now though, which is BS after getting flogged by a much stronger team

Won my cup game today, forgot to set my team so I lost half my training... Won 5-0 anyway. Great I'm up against a team that was in the final 32 of the cup last season. Gogo PIC! At least it's a home game for me, hopefully the extentions to my stadium are finished (meant to finish on the same day as the match).
 
Easy 9-1 win today. Sitting 1st on the ladder.

Got a toughie in the cup, but i am confident of a win. Also have a tough league game next week, not so confident in that one.
 
won 4-1 with my secondary team and sitting second with the same GD as first but 1 less goal, not really trying to win it this year just trying to strengthen my squad so ill be able to compete in Div IV.

Going to upgrade my stadium next week when i have money from the cup and just sold a player for just over 1 mil so looking to increase the stadium by 10k+ to around 25k
 
lost 4-1 @ home to the strongest team in the league.

big match this round, could be a chance to win it, provided my 2 injured players get fit for the game.

siting 5th atm, have the easy matches rounds 5-8 so have to hope i get something off one of the stronger teams in my other matches.
 
Won my cup match today 7-3. Didnt have any injuries which is the main thing.

going alright with my 2nd XI in the league so far sitting 2nd and the exp they will get from that will no doubt pay off when selling them.

got my first win in div V today, but it has been hollowed a little - the bloke i played hasnt logged in for 2 weeks, but stuff it, i am more than happy to take the 3 points.
 
It's fair to say I'm not loving hattrick at the moment.

I'm currently sitting in 7th place with an 0-3 record in the 4th toughest Division V league.

On the weekend I beat my opponent all across the park, had 57% of the possession and a 53 point higher hatstats rating (199-153) and managed to lose 3-2 after going down 3-0 in the first 15 minutes.

There are two fairly average teams in my league so I should have no problem staying up but it's a bit frustrating knowing that my chances of making the top four are already gone.

won 2-0 @ home, he didnt get 1 chance.

poor bastard lost his starting keeper last week, but i will take it. injuries have hit me hard before.

how does loddar work? higher better?

I also had another win. I cant really believe that Im comfortably in 3rd in the 30th hardest V league in my first season in V. Im selling my defender trainees at seasons end so my formation will be more attacking and I will be able to upgrade my stadium.
 
Well my second league game was an almost respectable 5-2 loss after the previous weeks 8-0 thrashing. Now I have my trainees I have to play the waiting game before I can become competitive and try and not get relegated of course. I upgraded my poor keeper to passable, I hope those extra wages are worth it!
 
Came unstuck last week 4-0. Joke of a game looking at the ratings, how it ended 4-0 i'll never know.

Bounced back and won 4-0 this weekend though. Sitting 3rd on 4-0-1.

Just bought a mythical mid for 1.3mil. 32 years old and onnly 77k in wages!
 
Won 2-1 away, great tactical victory.

he has an awesome keeper, but his LD is weakest, so i set my FTW & OW on my right to boost my attack ratings to solid, scored 2 goals from there. Dominated midfield to keep his chance to one counter attack, and hung on for the last 2 minutes with a weak keeper after my 1st teamer was injured.

great win, sets me up in 3rd spot, but the league is a gimmie div V league so am very lucky to have been put into it.
 
won 2-0 away to the bottom team. sitting 4th and will probably remain around there, my stadium will be finished on wednesday so the increase in revenue will allow me to sure up my defence and get another decent striker.

won 6-1 away against a new team to move to 2nd place in my div V league - one of the easier ones out there so next season will be the real test.

for the first time ever today the over-confidence effect hit my team, my midfield ratings were really down today & i am putting it down to that.

is there a way to make sure one of your players gets a yellow card? my winger has 2 yellows & i want him to get banned for one of the next 3 games so he is available for the more difficult matches.

with my newly built stadium got 27000 to the game which will allow me to improve my team quicker than what it would normally take
 
8-0 win at home vs third, think it shows I'm a bit past VI...

Expanded my stadium to 37k tho! Will be the third biggest for teams in Oceania started in the same month (3/2006) :thumbsu:
 
won 9-0, spending $1m to expand the arena.

decided to get rid of my youth team at the end of the season depending on the quality of pulls later this season. cut back to 1 scout & started investing in the old youth system @ 20k p/w.

Am on 10-1-1 (the game i lost i shouldnt have)

I am a real chance of promoting, but i play the team in 2nd on the last day, so it will be interesting as he is only 1 point behind me at the moment.

Spent 1.2 mil upgrading my stadium to 70k. Should hopefully sell it out against the team in 2nd if its done by then.
 
thought this thread was dead when it wasnt showing on the soccer games page anymore.

70k stadium - holy shit that is massive, just upgraded mine to 35k.

play the best team in the league tomorrow away expecting to be bent over, resting players with 2 yellows for the last game against the bloke I am fighting it out for 2nd place with.
