If threads on other boards are real, then Willi will be signing Galea, Barling, Macri and Tallis, plus others, and our strong Collingwood draft/ rookie choices will be in there. Add Jarrad, Lawry. Possible shortage in ruck, but otherwise is this looking like the 2002/3 bumper harvest or full court press by Collingwood in the Willi 1 and 2's?

Well, Jackson Barling was one of the undrafteds that was training with us for a rookie spot; he's a KPP. Apparently came very close, but just wasn't good enough below the knees to make it. If he can improve, might be a smokey again next year.

christian macri is an experienced player from the ovens and murray. very strongly buildt midfeilder he has coached wodonga raiders for the past couple of years and is a quality footballer

Tallis is an assistant. I don't think he's playing.
Macri and Barling are good recruits, although we will lack some firepower without Baldwin.
With extra depth at Collignwood, I have no doubt that Williamstown will be in the finals again in 2005.

Ok lets get things straight..... i heard galea was going to perth to play for peel thunder, barling did not train with collingwood he trainned with richmond, and yes he will be playing for williamstown now and hasnt signed with the devils.

I was only asking because there was a Barling that had signed with the Devils recently, from Ballarat, or Bendigo, not sure which it was on Win News Late Edition, and I wasn't paying much attention.
