Having a problem with Betfair.

I've recently joined Betfair and have done the ID check and was ready to start betting. Problem is when I login I get a Windows Internet Explorer box appear which says "You are not authorised to perform this action."
Now a new page comes up with tabs at top but rest of page remains blank.

I contacted betfair about this and they said I needed to delete temporary internet files, passwords, history etc... and put betfair on the trusted sites list. I did all that and still no change.

Currently I'm using explorer 7 although same thing happened when I used IE6.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do I fix it?

Never had a problem.

Have you tried it with Mozilla ?

If all else fails, contact them again. I've always found the Betfair staff to be extremely helpful.

Do you use ZoneAlarm? I had a problem with Betfair when I installed that but just change the settings to allow the site and it should be fine. Also, use Mozilla Firefox.

Agree about the staff being helpful. I sent them an email at about 12pm on a Saturday not expecting them to respond for ages - but they gave me a call within a few minutes and took me through things to fix an internet-related problem (turns out it was just the cache).

Just got another email from betfair and they suggest using mozilla firefox so you lads were spot on.


Edit. Installed mozilla firefox and everything is now working fine.
