IMO, far too many posts floating around saying this bloke is cooked, done, over the hill.

• Absolute champion.
• Coming off a fantastic 2023.
• Carrying an injury.
• In a forward line with a bunch of new faces.

I still reckon he will make a fair few defenders look silly this year, and a number of BF posters too.

He had a good 2023 on the scoreboard only.
He was slowing down, kicks that would normally go through started dropping short, he stopped playing front and centre and started skirting (not quite shirking) the contest.

He is, or was, an absolute champion, but that doesn't give him a free pass .
And that forward line of a bunch of new faces looked a lot better without him there.
