Yep loved his game today, he is proving to be a very handy player for us across half back.

He's got toe, he's got tidy foot skills, he's got composure, he's got the ball on a string, he's good overhead and has a good defensive side to his game.

I think I'm hesitating making a rashly positive call on him, just because he walks like Donald Duck!

He's played less than many other midfield types from his draft, but he compares quite favourably:

Loved his game on Lovett.
Was a few mistakes that cost us but you are to expect that with young defenders. Really pleased with his game because we are lacking in small defenders. Although apart from having the fumbles I thought O'Brien played very well too.

Going by that link, he's the best (on average), with Stanton second best!
Averaging almost 8 marks per game is impressive.

Harry seems to be getting rawer with time, perhaps we've pushed him into the seniors too quickly. Everyone fumbled a bit, so perhaps I'm a bit harsh on Screens, but as long as we're winning, he's getting experience.

I thought he was rubbish personally. Fumbled just about everything. Got 25 touches, sure, but also a lot of errors.

Don't think he's a dud - don't get me wrong - but I don't get why he'd be labelled a star based on that performance.

Actually I thought he fumbled rarely. His kicks were precision stuff. He got 15 marks also, which accounted for more than half his possessions, so how could he have fumbled? If he fumbled a mark but still got it paid, then it doesn't really matter. But I don't think he did. He also took on the opposition and provided run, because he actually has very good pace.

I meant times he fumbled and didn't get possession. Too many for a league player at this stage.

Like Sheedy said on On The Couch last night, do not underestimate the skidmark inducing effect that a fierce 92,000 ANZAC crowd will have on a young man.

For that, Heater and Harry have some leniency in my book. Same goes for that Thomas feller.

Great experience for them all, and a night at the dome will become more comfortable and the fumbles will hopefully lessen.

Rubbish? fumbled? sorry but I am very confused. Heath made very few mistakes and his ball handling was quite good. What was even more impressive is that I reckon he it close to 100% of targets. You sure your not getting him mixed up with harry(not that you could) . tough judge

Of course, this was the one game all season I'll watch at the ground - so may pick up on different things.

But yeah not impressive.

He is not a star.
However he is progressing nicely.
Gets a lot of the ball and his skills are getting better.
Still has a lot of improvement left before he becomes an automatic selection.
Next year he should aim at becoming one of our permanent midfielders
