I don't think it's a coincidence that Collingwoods "bad form" of late has coincided with Shaw's effects on games being minimised.

If Malthouse wants to keep Heath doing what he's doing, then he's going to need to teach him how to break a tag.

And there's no better time for that than the offseason.

I just think that right now, Collingwood are fighting for finals time. If Heath Shaw is so important to Collingwood's structure, then Mick should be right now focusing on how to get him loose. By not doing that, it gives you the impression that Malthouse dosent believe Shaw IS that important to their structure, and is quite happy to have him tagged out of games.

I scored 2275 on the weekend despite having C.Cornes, Stiffy and Chapman on the bench. Tippet also dropped yet managed to barely put together a full side after playing one short last week.

One trade left and I really need to make it count. Question is though where will I be using it, forward or back?

Also have Porpliza to worry about too. Not looking good for first week of finals. Need Tippet back I think just to cover for Porps/Chapman!

So let me get this straight...

Buy Heath Shaw for something like 520k.

Plays a career-worst season, drops to 371k.

Is now completley worthless, at the time where he is suspended for the rest of the season, with no chance to improve his price.
