Heavy Metal may not "appeal" to you but it does to millions of other people.
My whole point is you don't have to like the music but don't just sit there and criticise for the sake of it. Look a little bit deeper and try to appreciate what they do as musicians.

Sorry, but I find a deeper connection to music. Being dazzled at how well someone plays their instruments is fine to a point, but a little naive way of judging and connecting with music. I find heavy metal is stuck in the same place it has been for the last 20 years. You reach a point where someone screaming on how much his life sucks accompanied by another geeza trying to break the world record for shredding is just a tad lame.
