Hi. I'm a new poster from Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada (just east of Vancouver). I've been fascinated with Australian Football for a while and have just begun to follow it closely the last couple of weeks, listening to it on afl.com.au during the early morning, even gambling on it. I don't have a favorite team and have yet to decide on or pledge allegiance to one. My username contains the names of my favorite baseball and hockey teams from North America, the Seattle Mariners and New York Islanders. Its unfortunate that a good AFL television deal does not exist on basic cable in Canada but I will probably subscribe to FoxSportsWorld soon so I can see some games...or at least go to a bar and try to get it that way.
