A mate of mine described his performance in Australia last summer as 'superb' while I'm of the opinion that he's a poor man's Shane Lee at best.
Who's closer to the mark?? And will he have an influence on the World Cup??

definitely a better cricketer than Shane Lee...

he's only on the fringe for the SA XI though - doubtful to play every game at the WC - will depend on what balance they want to go in with...
I actually reckon he's a pretty decent cricketer

Useful. Nothing special.

But a poor mans Shane Lee, thats harsh

He only played the last few games in the series against Pakistan because dumb arse ANel dropped a bottle on the ground and stepped on the glass.

He's Australias version of James Hope

I think he's better than Hopes and a lot better than Shane Lee. He bowled superbly at Port Elizabeth for 4/34 and I would rate him as a more consistent bowler for them in one dayers than Nel. He's very competitive and good in the field. He's handy with the bat and does all right for a guy who comes in at #9.

Probably one of the few guys to open the batting and bowling in test cricket and has a test century opening.

He does appear to be a fringe player though and comes in when someone is missing. Probably more useful than Langeveldt and a better death bowler than Ntini or Pollock.

Also has survived 7 gun shot wounds.
