I thoroughly reccomend the Carlton Club and Hosies Tavern.

HA! Spent a bit of time in both. The Carlton Club is the one upstairs and across the road from teh cinemas in Bourke St isnt it?

Had a few sessions in there. And Hosies is the joint with topless barmaids downstairs on the Cnr of Flinders and Elizabeth.

I remember getting blind in there when I was about 18 and couldnt stop looking at the barmaids norks. Was a great morning.

Yeah, the Carlton Club's great. Open 24 hours and is at it's prime at about 5am.

If you can land a window seat, you can have a look over the awning over Bourke Street and count the syringes. Will be at least one fight an hour, and if you're lucky, you'll just be a spectator!

Good times.

Yeah my ex and I, who was a prissy, rich Mt Eliza girl used to go there regulary for late night binges. Helped that she owned an apartment in Little Collins too, so if we'd been elsewhere it was a short stumble there for more drinks before bed.

We once tried to get into the Kareoke bar that's kinda above the Maccas over the raod. They looked at us and said '35 dollar each yes'.. We took a look round the room and noticed it was 100% asian. We didnt pay the 35.
