If he kicks 2-3 in a game thats relatively equal, you would say thats beaten. But we won by 100+, and he managed to kick 4.2. Hardly had a shot at the ball did jack, soo it was more in his favour than hendo's.

Not only that but Jack's marks were from unspoilable(if that is a word) passes. We didn't get to see much wrestling when bombed in. Was very surprised and impressed that Hendo was able to stay with Jack on the lead.

Yeah I agree mostly, even though he did kick 4 and the didn't get a lot of inside 50s their composure and being able to look for other targets like Vickery etc really went out the window today and they spent the entire game trying to kick it to Jack.

Riewoldt got some good ones that no one could stop, outclassed Hendo a few times also but Lachie got the better of him plenty of times too. Will learn heaps from playing on the second best forward in the game, no doubt he'll be playing on Hall next week so let's hope he has a big one.

I reckon that playing down back for a couple of weeks will be good for him.

What I saw of the game (only the second half these 6am games suck), he wasnt beaten and the 2 marks I saw Reiwoldt take were on good leads and even SOS would have been struggling to spoil them.

I would keep him in the back line until Jamo is back and ready to play.

As well, a couple of good games and his confidence will come back.

Looked good today. Had some early victories on Riewoldt and didn't look back. He was beaten by Riewoldt on the run but you see that happen often.

I agree he has good potential as a backman, very much liked his game although he had 4 kicked on him.

Would have been good to put a loose man in the hole so jack had nothing to lead into. Would have been logical seeing as he was there only target up forward all day.

Could be a solid backman, but could be an amazing forward. Keep him back while we need him but move him out the second we don't. Was impressed with his heart today, although there's still a lot of room for improvement.

He is a forward, still very young and will develop into exactly what we want.

Was it really limited opportunity though? This wasn't the Richmond of late that have been looking for Miller and Vickery as well, they shit themselves today and looked for Jack at every opportunity. They actually had more inside 50s today (40) than when he kicked 6 in round one (37).

He was earnest today. Rewoldt still kicked 4, shoulda kicked 6. He will get monstered by Collingwood forwards as a defender, but next week gives him a chance to prove himself on big Barry Hall who is a power forward on the way out and has humiliated us in disgusting ways in the past.

I will be more than happy to see Hendo send him to the toilet where he belongs, but we'll have to wait and see.

I don't think anybody was labelled a troll for suggesting he should go down back. More the manner of the critiques about him up forward if anything.

Looked to be able to use his body more down back today which is great. Will wait and see over the next few weeks though.

Fortunately I reread that line before I launched into a verbal tirade that would have made cp blush.


He played well on Riewoldt and he's got a bit of size to him. Doesn't use it as well as he should up forward just yet but more than held his own in a number of contests against Riewoldt. Be interesting to see how he goes next week in what you'd think will be a more competitive game.

Our mids and half-backs made Hendo look like a star today.

The confidence he would of gained from today's hit-out will be such a bonus for the side over all.

Yep, I've been saying it, glad i got my wish to see him in Riewoldt. Hendo IS a CHB, if you can see it, well it baffles me. Lets get jamo at FB, Hendo at CHB and a fit bower as the 3rd and we will be tearing it appart from defence. He has not got the body for a forward, he is not big enough or strong enough, but he has the running ability and field kicking and smarts to play defence and he is strong enough to play CHB. If he gets stronger and bigger he can play forward but I feel Waite and one day Mitchell might have that sown up. Kreuzer and Casboult might also start kicking them too.
